Answers to some common questions:
Are you insured?
Yes we have full 'Care, Custody and Control Insurance'. We also recommend that you have your own pet insurance.
Will my dog have the opportunity to socialise with other dogs? Yes, all our guests have the option to interact with one another. This will be the perfect place for your pup to learn how to socialise with other dogs and brush up his doggy manners.
Do you have a registration process?
Yes, all new clients are sent a registration questionnaire to fill in before their pup comes to visit us. This will differ depending on whether your pup is with us for boarding/daycare or grooming but covers 'need to know' info about your pup.
Do you need to see proof of vaccinations?
Yes, please provide evidence that your dog's vaccinations are up to date, ideally a photocopy when your pet first visits. Please also ensure that your dog has been treated for fleas and worms before their stay, we recommend Advocate or Frontline.
What do I need to bring with my dog?
We have a wide selection of comfy dog beds, a multitude of treats, hypoallergenic dog food, and an overflowing toy box, so really all you need to drop off is your dog.
What will my dog's day be like?
We try and spend as much time as possible out and about both at local parks and Hampstead Heath. Typically this means between 2-4 hours outside, though in summer we like to stay out longer. The door to our safely enclosed garden is open in sunny weather allowing dogs to come and go as they please. When we're at home we have a wide selection of toys and chews to entertain even the most discerning pup. For those who want to relax we have several dog beds and a dedicated doggy sitting room furnished with comfy sofas, cushions and rugs.
What will my dog eat?
We have a variety of hypoallergenic to quality dog food available including James Wellbeloved, Barking Heads, Lily's Kitchen, Applaws and Nature Diet. However you may wish to bring your dog's regular food to minimise the chance of stomach upsets. Dogs are rewarded throughout the day with a variety of training treats.
What about grooming?
We try to make sure that pups are returned to you clean and tidy however if your pup's coat is easily matted we suggest you book a full groom. For a fee 4Paws Outdoors is happy to provide additional grooming services to our guests.
How do I pay?
Boarding clients are asked to pay a 50% deposit at the time of booking and the remainder on dropping off their dog.
Daycare clients are asked to pay on a daily or weekly basis. Payment is by cash, or by bank transfer. Where by bank transfer we ask that payment is made within 30 days of the invoice date.
All ad hoc bookings are to be paid in full in cash upon collection of your dog.
